ER90S-G argon arc welding wire is a high-performance heat-resistant steel welding wire.
Chemical composition and mechanical properties
The chemical composition of the deposited metal of ER90S-G welding wire (taking TGS-9Cb model as an example) mainly includes: C (carbon) about 0.07%, Mn (manganese) about 0.99%, Si (silicon) about 0.16%, Cr (chromium) about 8.97%, Ni (nickel) about 0.68%, and other alloy elements such as Mo (molybdenum) about 0.9%, Nb (niobium) about 0.04%, V (vanadium) about 0.18%.
Its mechanical properties are excellent, with a yield strength σ0.2 of about 700MPa, a tensile strength δb of about 780MPa, and an elongation δ of about 24%.
Welding process
Shielding gas: Argon (Ar) is usually used as a shielding gas to prevent oxidation and contamination during welding.
Welding technique: TIG (tungsten inert gas welding) welding method is adopted, which can provide high-quality welds and is suitable for welding thin plates and medium and thick plates.
